About Me (edited 2011 - 09)

My name is Tri Sasongko.

Born with Indonesian nationality on July 1981, currently living in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, studying master in King Saud University, Forestry major.

Not an experienced photographer, only love taking picture. I started this hobby since 15 years ago when I was in secondary school. Started with a my father's Yashica FX-3 film SLR, then I used different cameras, Nikons F80, F2, F3, some Canon film EOS, belong to my father or friends. None of them was mine :) .

The beginning of digital era was quite difficult for me, as cameras were expensive. Only when I was in Yemen for learning Islamic sciences and Arab language, I bought my first digital camera, a used HP 618, 2MP, a nice cam. Then in Saudi Arabia I bought a used (again) Panasonic TZ3, some 3 years ago. And just last year I bought a new (finally) Fuji HS10.

During summer vacation this year (2011), I traveled to Indonesia along with my family. We spent beautiful times there. And a Fuji S3 Pro DSLR that I ordered before the vacation was kindly brought to Indonesia by a good friend who also traveled for the vacation. Thanks also to a friend who gave me a soft loan for purchasing the cam. By the end of the vacation I gave the HS10 to my father, and the TZ3 to my wife's father. Now, I'm with the S3 Pro.

I'm a naturalist, love taking picture of nature and landscapes, yeah sometimes also architecture and cityscapes. So, I always do my post-processing in natural way, try to bring the photos closer to what my eyes can see. No color change, I hope.

Then, see you in my gallery. Feel free to put comments or critics.
